This site has given me much comfort this past year. A place to share my thoughts and memories with my Dad, about my Dad and has helped me to try and deal with my grief and my loss. The time he had dementia was short in comparison to others, we lost him long before he died. Thank you for being there ...... and especially you Dad, always there for me x

Thoughts
Well Paddy! Your sisters came to pay their respects at your side. We had prayers, songs, a few good old Irish ballards. It was lovely and I am sure you could hear us all, a great tribute to you. You could have turned off the rain for a while though!!! We all had a great time over the two days they were her and Vic and Lu really love them. It was good for them all to come see you. Miss you more than ever, pray for me and sing for me, love you....Margy xxx

Dad, well we had a fantastic time on your birthday. You probably saw all the people in the church, so many of your family to pay tribute to you, they did you proud. The girls couldn't believe they had so many family. Watch over Phyllis she needs a guardian angel. I wish I could say it's getting easier for me, but it's not. Perhaps I'll wake up tomorrow and it's all been a bad dream....I am so lonely without you. Margy xxx

Hello Dad. 10 years, can’t believe it. I miss you as much today as the day you went away. It’s just not the same without you. We always talk about you, the daft jokes and wicked sense of humour, but most of all I miss your smile and hugs. We still haven’t won the lottery but I’ll keep trying for you xx
